Day 3 – Manufactured Intelligence Squashed

I wonder how much time a person spends developing manufactured intelligence of false allegations, or lies, to destroy someone’s life to gain personal satisfaction or revenge. The shame and hurt, I would experience, sends anger crawling, then running to the surface of my mind and takes a seat. And I wonder for how long.

Amazingly so, the conniving efforts to assemble false witnesses to testify uncorroborated lies against Jesus by the chief priests, elders, and council (Matthew 26:59-61) failed miserably. It didn’t bother our savior. His silence kept them at bay. In His perfect timing, He spoke a truth they could not fathom, nor receive concerning to our invincible God.
We tend to focus on the negative impact of the false statements against us on our family and close relationships. Unfortunately, we forget the spoken untruths are irrelevant when two people know the truth-you and the Lord (John 8:32).
When we pause and center our attention on Jesus, we acknowledge Him as our Lord (Romans 10:9-11) and walk in His truth (Psalm 86:11). Though suffering comes with false accusations (1 Peter 3:14), we keep our hope in Him. We remain steadfast in our victory (2 Corinthians 4:17). Our given time sets course on pleasing Him (2 Corinthians 5:9), growing in wisdom (Psalm 90:12), and renouncing untruths that hinder us from enriching our mind and purpose to everything that pertains to Jesus.
Dear Lord, sincere gratitude for showing me how to squash and handle untruths purposed in someone’s heart to harm me and distort my trust in you. I degree to continually focus on Your truth and Your promises, that inhibit me from falling into guilt-ridden condemnation, while the spirit of forgiveness embraces my heart toward Your guidance of reconciliation. Amen
