The Voice of Peace

Thank you, Lord, for your beloved Son Jesus. I praise Him for being my voice of peace in times of trouble. His voice casts out and rebukes fear. It imprisons fear and tosses it into the abyss of unworthiness. The Savior’s voice of victory comforts me during unpleasant situations. I'm grateful that His resonating peace imparts rest when it appears my soul is draining. Its tender-loving tone fills me with hope. A sound that calms my spirit surrendering worry and anxiousness.

Yes, Jesus, my Savior. It is Your sweet, sounding voice that shepherds my loved ones and me through the valley. Your words find me when my compass breaks, and I have no sense of direction. No other voice than Yours gives me the toughness needed to endure my challenging circumstances. Power flowing from your vocal chord strengthens me when I am weak and delivers me from my enemies, pestilence, and destruction. The sovereignty of your voice quenches the fire that attempts to burn and bury my peace in darkness. While humility replaces arrogance, a renewed mind births itself in the calmness of Your voice. Whispers of Your peace command stillness in chaos and love in turmoil.

Honor and glory to You, my Lord, for Your resounding peace. The tranquility of your voice permeates compassion for the oppressed, forgiveness upon repentance, mercy instead of justice, and Your abundant grace. It tears down barriers and fills our nation’s leaders with wisdom, unity, and righteousness. Let it strengthen the faithfulness of those in need of healing and call the rebellious spirit to obedience. Permit the loving kindness in Your voice, Lord, reign in the heart of Your people, so they keep praying, caring, and serving others. May it continue to supply front-line defenders the courage to persevere, trusting You. Thank you, Lord, for Your voice of peace! Amen
